Description

The saragolla wheat is a little-known cereal, grown in small quantities between Lucania, Sannio and Abruzzo. The saragolla wheat is nothing but a variety of Khorasan, and its name would derive from the ancient Bulgarian "yellow grain". And in fact the flour is bright yellow, keeping the color in the cooking. This grain, being naturally resistant to pests is suitable for a cultivation respectful of nature and health.

The saragolla wheat, like other varieties of khorasan, is valuable because it is very nutritious, healthy and easy to digest.
