Description

The plant reaches at least one meter in height, the ear is elegant and tapered, the grain is small and elongated, light, golden-orange and shiny in appearance. The name, which in dialect becomes "Carusedda", derives from "tosello grain" (without a sn cough or caruso head).

Carosella flour has a very white color due mainly to the type of grains, it is velvety to the touch and is very fine and with a sweetish flavor. It lends itself well to the preparation of sweets, pizzas, pasta and bread.
