Terra Nobile

The Menna Orietta farm, starting from the recovery of ancient and indigenous Abruzzo seeds, sets its entire supply chain on concepts rooted in the past.

Our lands are fertilized with green manure of leguminous plants following the agrarian rotation and without the use of chemical fertilizers and herbicides.

The ears that ripen in the months of June and July, give our sunny hills amber and golden colors.

After harvesting and the period of rest and cleaning, the cereals are ground by hand with a natural stone mill.

This technique allows to have high quality flours with the double advantage of obtaining irregular granulometries with a higher bran content and a total preservation of the germ.

The latter in fact contains the most precious part of the grain, rich in antioxidants, vitamins, polyphenols and essential oils that restore the flavors of the past to the palate.
