It is produced more in central Italy and harvested in the period before the height of the summer season, Coriander honey is a rare honey that from the golden orange shades it possesses when still liquid, it switches to an etheree color almost pearly at the time of crystallization that makes it a rather dense and compact honey.
The pungent scents vaguely refer to the spice produced by the same flower from which it originates. Scents of pain d'épice, cedar, coffee and chocolate, alternate with balsamic aromas that create the perfect balance that this honey possesses in its characteristic sweetness.
Tips for use:
Coriando honey is great to pair with foods with fatty notes, such as seasoned pecorino cheese and fresh beans.
